DOVER — City and state police made two arrests Wednesday after investigation into separate firearm-related cases in Kent County, according to court documents.
•The most recent case involved a 22-year-old Harrington man who allegedly loaded a camouflage shotgun on Monday at 9:30 a.m. and pointed it at a person at a residence, threatening to “… blow your head off” while committing several alleged felonies, the Delaware State Police said in an affidavit of probable cause.
Later, according to police, a Dr. Pepper soda can was allegedly poured on a vehicle and billiard balls thrown through a window, causing approximately $750 in damage.
Michael J. Morris, of the 1000 block of Little Mastens Corner Road, pleaded not guilty to charges at Justice of the Peace Court 2 in Rehoboth Beach, and was released on a $31,500 unsecured bond pending a future court appearance.
A counterfeit $100 bill was discovered while taking Mr. Morris into custody, according to authorities in papers.
Charges included possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, first-degree reckless endangering, criminal mischief, third-degree assault, terroristic threatening and a trademark violation.
•Dover Police arrested a 32-year-old Camden-Wyoming man connected to an alleged incident on July 12 involving a possible fight with another person at 5:15 p.m..
Justin J. Strouse, of the 6000 block of Mud Mill Road, allegedly “pulled a silver handgun from his center console, held it, and told [name redacted] but I got a bullet for you too then,” according to police in documents.
Dover Police responded to a harassment complaint on Martin Street at approximately 6:49 p.m.
Mr. Strouse pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening (two counts), and harassment. He was initially held by the Delaware Department of Correction in lieu of $22,500 secured bail.
