William M. Berry, then 53, of the 100 block of Greenbriar Drive in Hartly, turned himself in to Dover police on Sept. 11, 2015, after allegations from Dover Little League board members arose regarding use of the league’s credit card, authorities said at the time.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 24. Original charges included counts of theft and unlawful use over $1,500.

Mr. Berry, who resigned as Dover Little League president, was indicted by a Kent County grand jury on Dec. 7, 2015.

He was represented by lawyer John Garey, and Deputy Attorney General Ben Snyder prosecuted for the state.
