Joseph R. Biden Jr.
commencement ceremony, during which time the university will launch its celebration of its 125th anniversary as an institution of higher education.
The ceremony will be at Alumni Stadium on the DSU campus.
In 2003, Vice President Biden – then-Delaware’s senior U.S. senator – was the DSU commencement keynote speaker. That year about 450 graduates heard his commencement message.
With the enrollment growth of DSU since then, it is projected that during this year’s ceremony, he will give his keynote address to approximately 700 graduates.
